The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme sassa status check [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional resources to allow the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
